След като последните дни, а днес окончателно телефоните, електронната ни поща и Фейсбук прегряха от запитвания на разтревожени родители и бъдещи студенти…
Ето как съвсем адекватно започнаха да реагират някои британски университети на Брексит:
Thank you for your application to study at the University of Westminster. We understand the past few months will have been uncertain for you due to the referendum we have held in the UK over continued EU membership.
We realise that you may well find the news this morning that the UK has voted to leave the EU unsettling. Please be assured that as an institution we are keen to welcome you to study here.
Our international focus is one of our strengths as a university. It is our ambition that all our students should have the opportunity to choose to study or work abroad, or closer to home in contexts that develop intercultural understanding and competence.
We are pleased to let you know that there will be no changes to fees for EU students starting studies here in September 2016 who will be charged at the current level for UK/ EU students subject to you successfully progressing each year.
As I am sure you are aware the UK has voted by a narrow margin to leave the EU. As an EU applicant please be reassured that the University will honour all its commitments to you.
Cardiff University is an international community that values the students and staff that come to study and work here from around the world.
